Yeah, same. I saw one at best buy for 59.99 US. ALMOST got it. Almost. It would have to significantly beat my Mugen 2 for me to take the splash.

Thought id add something I just realized this evening looking over the Corsair install video.
They state during their build NOT to use the CPU power pinout but instead use just a chassis fan power pinout. This may or may not be a prob on some M/Bs. On some M/Bs this power supply is a hardware monitoring supply & will cause errors if not used. I sent the techs @ Corsair a message concerning this as my manual states this is a no-no. Im thinking so long as I do not use any software that would slow down the pump such as Cool N quiet etc.. then the CPU power pinout should provide constant hi-speed. Something to think about, ill post their reply soon as I get one. I just got done adding fans to my new Antec 300 case. Pretty sweet case for the price. Top exhaust fan, side fan, 2 front fans, & a 120mm top back fan for the Corsair setup. Even has dust filter on the front fans. Im pretty impressed with this case for $50!

Nice. I got an H50 a week ago and don't regret it. Before I had a Zalman 9900 on my i7 @ 3.6ghz, capped at 80C, now I am at 4ghz, capped at 75C. Great Cooler.

I got mine last weekend at Frys for 70 bucks. Mine is connected to the board but have it set to 100 percent all the time in bios and all is well. Running cool and running well.

Did you set the pump to the CPU power or a regular aux fan power? If an aux what did you do about the CPU power pinout? Just leave it empty? Im a bit worried to setup till I know exactly the best way to go safely. The instructions with the unit say to use the CPU power? So much confliction.............

Well i just install it and i love it. i was getting around 36-38 degrees across all cores with the stock cooler and now im getting 29-31 at idle. ( cpu is not overclocked at this time)

My box came with the bracket for the AMD chipset.

As for the pin on the mobo i used it and turned the cool and quiet off. So this makes the fan run at full speed.

You don't have to use the cpu fan header. Any fan header will work, just go into the bios and disable fan control, or use a 3/4 pin molex adapter and hook directly to the power supply. If leaving the cpu header empty results in an error message on boot then disable the warning message in bios "wait for F1 on error" I think it's called.

He asked about the pump connection. I just realized the fan on the corsair unit is 4 pin pwm, so the fan would go to the mobo cpu header, and the pump connector to any other 3 pin header or directly to power supply with 3/4 pin molex adapter. I suppose connecting the pump to the motherboard would allow monitoring pump rpm's, assuming the tach wire sends an rpm signal.

i beleive the reason for this is that some CPU fan power outputs have PWM, ie they change the voltage to slow down fans, but the pump needs constant 12v, atleast thats my understanding. should be ok if yuo switch off PWM fan control in BIOS

OT im also thinking about getting one of these when i upgrade to i7 (whenever that will be), currently about £50 from Scan in UK, thats cheaper than quite a few air coolers

Well that was fun!
Havent transfered a complete PC from case to case for some time. No glitches im happy to report its running sweet. Before I did this I ran with an old generic case with the side off and a small box fan running over the m/B to cool everything otherwise my usual temp on the m/B was 35c & the CPU OCed to 3.7 was 40c at idle....with the box fan running the M/B dropped to 26c & the CPU to 34c.
Now here is the funny part........................
Now that Ive utilized a new gaming case the Antec 300 I added all 120mm fans it would take. I have a side fan set on low speed, 2 120mm front fans also set on low speed, a top 120mm fan set on hi, and a 120mm on the radiator for the Corsair plugged into the CPU cooler power pinout & the pump plugged into a chasis fan plug.
Now with the 550BE OCed to 3.7 & fully incased in a closed case as it should be the temps are exactly the same as if I had that box fan blowing on the open case of the old setup. Talk about quiet now..................................This was all I was expecting at best was to run as cool as i was with the serious blast of cool air I had before, all the fans really make a serious diff. They all have that blue glow which is pretty cool..........I LOVE this case its perfect for watercooling & was only $50! I only need 2 bays so its perfect for me however if one had the need for more then 3 bays this case wouldnt work unless you didnt mind loosing 1 front fan, then it would still have 5 bays.
Havent done a gaming load test thats next I just wanted to get it up & running first. Almost a shame to have to hide the cooler under the side case, I may cut it open & add plexaglass...........................Yep, a must do next!

As another side note I wanted to add that my MSI 260 used to idle @ 40C & usually raised to about 55c during hard loads at the moment in this new case sealed up its idle temp is 36!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did NOT expect a closed case to make it run cooler, the vacumn of a closed case with multiple intake fans works better then a open case even with a fan blowing on it. Never thought id be saying that statement........Shocking the diff a decent case makes. Ill be back after tabulating up core loads during a gaming load.

Game load of Crysis Warhead caused the CPU to only raise to only 39c, thats with the game settings at all gamer & 4XAA. Definatly cooler then air cooling. The Corsair is worth every cent, im a bit disappointed the warrantee is only 1 yr. tho. Thats not long, I hope it lasts a LOT longer.

I noticed my CPUv was staying @ 1.44v 24/7 with cool N quiet disabled and that rose the CPU temp to 40C @ idle so..............I re-enabled cool N quiet & now my CPU idles @ 1.10v which lowered the CPU temp back down to a respectable chilly 33C. Under hi load it now dosent go over 40c. The cool N quiet works with the Corsair keeping the v down helping to cool big time if anyone with an AMD PC is interested. Im going to add another 120mm fan to sandwich the radiator in a push/pull config that outta help more yet....

Added the 2nd fan for a push/pull on the radator, made a diff.
Used an Antec 3-speed fan for ea. fan both set to hi.
My room temp is almost always 70F
My CPU OCed to 3.7 idles now @ 30c and under a hi load it hits around 40c.
Im using auto voltage & cool N quiet so that my voltages stay low as poss except during a hard draw. The extra radator fan dropped the CPU temp about 5c.
My CPU voltages range from 1.09v idle-1.45v load

Will try to get the amb temp tonight.

Ended up taking my coolermaster 690 case apart last night and painted it all flat black.

Will have it all back together tonight.

As far as my cpu temps. Before OC my i5 750 was running at 35-36c with stock cooler, 27-28 with H50. Now OCD at 3.8ghz up from 2.66ghz my idle temps are 36-38 and running max load with intel burn test for 5 threads i only reached a max temp of 74c..
