Does anyone know of a way to get sound to come out of my TV (connected through HDMI, classed as second moniter) or my PC speakers depending on what program is running?
Instead of going into the audio devices and changing the default?

For example i usually have Boxee running on my TV and then play games at the same time. There is a very tedious way of getting Boxee sound through the tv and game through pc, but i want something better.

Suggestions?

(Sorry if that sounds confusing, tis hard to describe)

You will need to play with the audio settings and tell it to send a different audio stream to the rear output or HDMI and the other audio stream to the headphones / front panel. I think realtek HD Audio lets you do this, I dont know which sound card you have
