I simply had to share this with you guys, thought you might appreciate something as mad as this:

If the card is dead, you got nothing to lose.

Yeah, trhough the same when was reading "Placing a near and dear piece of hardware that once cost me $550 into a frigging oven just feels wrong."

If is dead the value is zero.

if there is one thing i have learned from the anime "Full Metal Alchemist" its that the dead are better off dead ... so if my GPU dies i ain't never bringing it back to life cause i will fear a hardwareculus taking its place somewhere else around the world

i actually did this with my 8800gtx, and it works!!!
i do admit it felt really funny,and it was hard not to laugh about it when telling about it to friends.
