MSI AfterBurner Skin Competition

MSI recently released their massively popular AfterBurner overclock software. This software could use a couple of user created skins. So we figured it would be fun to design a competition around it.

AfterBurtner's skin is customizable (read all about it here). Be creative ! This contest will run from November the 18th up-to December 11th. We have some awesome prizes lined up for the winners !

You'll need to create the skins, and send us the screenshot (JPG max size 1024 KB). Later on you'll be asked to send the skin to us by email. You can register at the Guru3D.com forums, and upload a screenshot of your design in this thread.

With the help of a poll the Guru3D audience (you guys) will decide which Skins will one of these fantastic prizes:

First prize - MSI P55-GD80 motherboard
Second place -- MSI R4890 Cyclone OC graphics card
MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OC graphics card
Three runner-ups : MSI N9600GT Diamond graphics card

How to upload screenshots -- Click on 'Post Reply' in this competition thread. Below the text field you'll notice a sections called 'Attach files'. Click on the Manage Attachments button and here you can upload your screenshot -- after which it will be automatically thumbnailed and insert in your post.

Again please read carefully what screenshots we require at the contest landing pages.

Not sure about it myself. If there is such a restriction - I'd strongly recommend to remove it. More skins = better for all.

Well, I have two separate concepts already out there and I'm sure others would have more than one idea. Especially with the color theme! I mean we should really be able to submit multiple color themes, at least... Reasonable number of restrictions is fine I think, like three different skins with three different color themes, something like that...

There is no limitation on submission, you can upload as many skin as you like!

No bad for beginning, but I'd expect much more creativity from the skin authors. Taking base image and just filling it with a solid image is not something that can lead you to victory.

As many as you can create. There are no limitations in this area.

Just do a search for MSI logo on google images search (set it to higher than 2MP size).

I've found two 2400x1440 logos, one blue and one black and just used those. For the Afterburner, I don't know what font they used but I just changed it to whatever design I used.

I'm still not ready to post mine, having a little trouble with some buttons, Its pressing down and the alternate pressed image only shows for the AUTO fan button but not for everything else. EDIT: fixed this one.

Also, I have an ATI card so the shader(?) slider is disabled and I can't test the linked sliders. Also the voltage cannot be set so that slider is also greyed out, so I might have to find somebody to test it out for me later.
