Sup people. I will be giving away/selling my 4830 card and I was wondering if anyone can recommend something in the price range of $100 to $200 as a replacement video card for me. I am torn between the 260 or 4870. Or should I wait a litle longer to see what Nvidia comes out with?

no need to wait for nVidia because they are only releasing their ultra-high end card at launch. go for the 5770!

HD5770, but if NVIDIA manages to roll out a new Fermi-type architecture GPU, it's worth looking at. It won't happen for more than a few months though, so I'd go with the HD5770, or the HD5750. Both are great choices.

I put my support behind the 5770. Mainly because the 5750's stock coolers just stink and the 5770 looks like a sweet card.

Yeah go with the 5770 cause prices on the 4870/4890 are going back up and making them not really worth it.

I'm not too impressed with the 5700 series cards. The numbers don't look that great. I'm going to be mostly playing left 4 dead 2 and modern warfare 2. I played the demo for left 4 dead 2 and it ran great with my current video card. I don't think these games will be too demanding.
