Look at the GPU clock. Are they actually benching the 5950??

That said, it looks awesome. And I can only assume they are leaving the 5890 up their sleeve.

Quite a beast of a card when it comes to form factor. And i really wonder or a single fan would provide actually adequate cooling.

It's a dual gpu card, so the clocks are probably lowered due to that.

I was expecting higher than 22k, an i7 + highly clocked 295 can break 24k.

And that is Quad Crossfire?

the p22 is single card(2gpus enabled) quad would be 4..simple math
and we know vantage with physx swings toward nvidia...
not to mentioned it takes highly clocked 295 + a higher then 4ghz i7 to get 24k....atleast from what ive seen is 4.2-4.4ghz

oh yea dont forget..drivers...surely they are beta and if we've learned anything with dual gpu cards..new drivers = more performance

Stalker:CS and Crysis Warhead scores are a little disappointing, still far too low Min FPS, but suppose that was to be expected.

Far Cry2 FPS are brilliant, anyone know what the settings where?

By loooking at GPU-Z which is a screen of a 5850 card with 1600 shaders, and not one of x2 card. That card is pretty weak.

Edit:device ID 689C I was wrong.

I will be buying one or two of the 5970 cards(unless I can buy Fermi when released),but not the one posted with those poor benchmarks.
The reason I say this is because its just not better then what I have now.

I don't know, this doesn't seem right now that I've looked again.

If you read in the article he says the fan is set to 100% speed. This tells me the fan is inadequate, obviously. So I think we can expect higher frequencies once it's released with a proper fan on it.
