EA is forcing me to install Flash Player 10 on IE which doesn't work because it's being a DICK saying that my security setting won't allow. I turned the security settings off to no avail. Seriously M$, I don't bother using your IE but EA forced my hands.

EA gives me a good reason to pirate their game until their clean up their nefarious act.

Flash works fine in IE for me. It is my main browser. My security settings are at stock settings too. You may want to see Adobe has a manual uninstall/install you can download and see if that fixes it.

Maybe you disabled ActiveX on IE... TBH, that is the lamest reason for pirating a game. You should try harder next time.

This.

Firefox + ad blocker + noscript (since reddit went nuts ) , though I make sure to let ads through on my favorite sites. Granted if I ever hear one of those annoying audio ads I begin to block that site regardless.

I wish I could do that for my PS3's browser. The site I get themes from has those audio ads every so often, but I mostly just choose to not run those plugins if it prompts me for it. Sometimes it doesn't which just annoys me to no end.. but oh well.

With regards to the OP, I had issues with EA's download manager and how it wouldn't run half the time because IE would never updates its Flash settings. Problem went away when I downloaded IE8 and now the EA download manager works just fine, so does the IE Flash update. My suggestion is to upgrade IE or do what th3_edge suggests and go directly to Adobe's site.
