Default nvidia control panel "networking" - 10-02-2009, 12:53 | posts: 135 | User is Offline

In the nvidia control panel, the left hand column has the items;

3d settings
display
networking
video

A friend of mine has the latest nvidia drivers, but his control panel has the networking item missing. The networking allows you to enable or disable "first packet" settings.

Is their a specific download that adds "networking to the control panel?

If you install the "nForce" chipset drivers for youre motherboard you get network drivers installed (can choose if you want or not). Youre buddy either does not have a Nvidia chipset motherboard or if he does he just didnt install the network drivers. People with Nvidia graphics cards but not nvidia motherboards do not have the "network" settings either. Do you understand now?
