POST RESULTS HERE, FOR REFERENCE

• 2x EVGA GTX 275 in SLI with 190.62 = Works like a charm

• 2x EVGA 8800GTX - Vista Ultimatex64 -191.03/191.07 = Working perfectly
• 2x EVGA GTX 280's in SLI = Works fine with both old and new drivers
• EVGA 9800GTX+ - 191.07 = Working // Voltage control disabled
• EVGA GTX 260 - Windows 7 Pro x64 - 191.07 = Working fine

• 2x Sapphire 5870 = Working Single/Crossfire
• 2x Sapphire HD4870 = Working // Shader Clock disabled
• Sapphire HD4870 = Working // Shader Clock disabled

• XFX 260 216sp Black Edition - 186.18 = All recognized and working
• XFX GTX 280 1GB - Windows 7 x64 = Everything works
• XFX 8800gts 512 Alphadog - WinXP sp3 - Working // Voltage Disabled

• 2x BFG GTX 260, SP 192, 65 nm, Windows 7 RC, 191.03 beta = Working fine
• BFG GTX 275OC - Xp SP3 - 190.62 = Working // Voltage bar disabled

• Twintech GTX260 896MB GDDR3 AC Accelero XTREME XT OC Edition = Working // Voltage bar is disabled

• Gigabyte GTX 280 = All's well

• Zotac GTX 260 amp2 - 190.56 - xp x64 = Working

• Palit 8800GTX - no GPU Vcc reading - 191.07

EDIT: This will be my last time updating the list. I think we can safely say that your non-MSI cards are probably compatible with Afterburner 1.1.0 (with a few exceptions for voltage control, clock limits, and shader clock, all of which are determined by drivers or the presence/absence of card hardware and not by Afterburner). However, feel free to continue the discussion and to search through posts made after the time of this edit.

2x 5870 sapphire Crossfire

Single cards work
crossfire mode works

The only thing you cant do with the program is set higher clocks than 900/1300
this is a limitation in your cards bios and only RBE can fix this so we need to wait for a update with cypress XT support.

you can overclock over 900/1300 in AMD GPU CLOCK TOOL and then raise the core voltage and fan speed in MSI AFTERBURNER. The only problem is that the 2d clock doesnt work then, otherwise it works perfect. I have run 3dmark vantage with 1015core with 1.25v and the max temp was around 57c. I have XFX HD5870

You're not supposed to have shader clock adjustment on AMD GPU. The same for Karma Police, 275 models are not equipped with software voltage regulators.

Your card might be based on the cut down version GTX 260 without the Volterra software programmable VRM controller.

Everything working with Sapphire HD4870 (minus shader bar, but that's obvious).

Ow man, i just felt in love with the user defined fan-speed regulator

... it's funny that ATI CCC cannot do that by default

What's funny is that Unwinder seems to be the only programmer interested in meeting the demand for such a straightforward fan-control interface. I mean, speed based on temp, it's common sense. I guess we're lucky he's not charging us.

in 1.1 version the software do not support GTX260 55NM 216SP
so the voltage regulator will not work on all GTX260 216SP 55NM
except the MSI N260GTX Lightning....

Not true. Actually nice concept of GUI for fan speed curve editing was first offered in RBE creator, then by my old good friend w1zzard in his nice GPU Tool. I'm the third one who offered his point of view on such concept.

Furthermore, it will NEVER work on reference design 55nm GTX260. These series were offered by NVIDIA as replacement of more expensive 65nm series. Voltage regulation circuit of 55nm series has been also simplified to reduce manufacturing cost. There is simply no programmable VRM onboard.

Well it's very useful and user-friendly. Plenty of people (myself included) were not aware of the programs by w1zzard or RBE -- I can testify because I searched forums for a full week trying to learn how to control fans effectively, and RivaTuner was the only option mentioned. Everyone just wanted to control speed by temp, so you've done a better job than w1zzard or RBE of making people aware of a tool which can do that: Afterburner. (RivaTuner seems to be only able to control speed by an arcane and complex fan control rule).

Unfortunately yes. There is nothing to support, hardware component required to adjust voltage on the fly is simply missing there.

VRM is cheaper and can be controlled via hardware pins only. No software programming for it.

Offtopic... I used fan graph in GPU Tool to find nice fan settings and get those values to appear and stick in RT low level fan module! This way RT can apply desired fan values (and voltage bump via RT scheduler of course) during system start. RT just does it's job and quit.
PS: Overclocking via CCC. Clean job IMHO

(GPU Tool in "preview" state can bump up voltage too but then it will not drop down to 2D values).
All those marvelous tools we have to play with...

it is working on my zotac gtx 260 amp2,with 190,56 driver i am on xp x64,but ahve more test to do,i put voltage 1,200 and can not clock to 740 it frezes in 3dmark06.
