Nope. Unsynced = unofficial OC settings will not "take" on the second card and then the system will eventually BSOD with the video driver at fault.

Synced = unofficial OC settings will (sometimes) not "take" on the second card or (sometimes) will. In either case, the driver repeatedly crashes/recovers until the system is rebooted.

The problem is only with unofficial overclocking and I think also with voltage tweaking.

If I remember right, crossfire + unofficial overclock isn't supported. You would need to stay within the limits of the cards (so unofficial is turned off) and/or modify the BIOSes.

MSI AB 2.2.20 Final seems to have lost some support for existing skins. I uninstalled beta 15 before installing the final version. Kept all settings, just like the uninstaller of beta 15 asked. But I would just like to use my default blue skin again.

And another ('older') issue. From beta 15 and above the tabs of the 'settings' screen is displayed outside my monitor range. Yes, I'm running a custom DPI size (150%), but that didn't make my settings screen running outside my desktop before beta 15.

Made a small concept of reformed settings screen. In my opinion, current Afterburner design has a lot if repetetive elements and unused space. Also, the design is 720px friendly

Hi. I wanted to capture some video using Afterburner, but when I was trying to play the game I got black screen and had to reset the computer. I own Gigabyte Radeon 7850. Anyone had this issue?

The new 2.2.0 make my computer crash when using it. I have a MSI hd 7850. 2.1.0 was fine. Many people are reporting problems with 2.2.0 and hd 7850.

Can you fix it?

Using either Asus GPU tweak or evga precision will solve the problem. It is just sad that I have a MSI card but I need to use the EVGA program

The latest afterburner causes BSOD and blinking temperature icons in the taskbar.

All right I've googled the solution. It happens to be that BF3/Punkbuster and Afterburner wont work when both r running.

Edit: Now I can open the MSi interface. I've unticked "Enable low-level hardware access interface" in General tab. So far so good now need some ingame footage testing to confirm it works.

Edit 2: Nope now my comp freezes yet again. Even PB uninstalled the problem still occurs.

Exclamation /xcl incorrect parameters - 04-27-2012, 10:11 | posts: 37 | Location: Greece

I tried yesterday to use extended clocks via /xcl command and disabling the UOC.

However the clocks were extended only in the first GPU adapter (aka GPU1) and I manually added the second registry key for my second card (they're both reference 5870 cards).

What also is wrong with extended clocks data msi afterburner sets, is that it unlocks power control which actually is not supported in 5870 and is a useless slider in CCC. But the one that bugged me the most was that it changed the UVD clocks from 400/900 to 600/900 which is the intermediate state of the cards.

So please, fix the clocks and features that the registry key contains to resemble default behavior. Till then, I am back to UOC.

I downloaded the free Crysis Wrackage mod (Standalone!), and no OSD in 64bit version! It's bug or a feature?

Edit.: Using MSI Afterburner 2.2.0 (2012-04-19)!

Video recorded with MSI afterburner cannot be used in Sony Vegas, After Effects and Premiere Pro. Premiere shows an error before rendering, SV and AE doesn't even show previews.

It has been discussed before. Why not go back to those software folks you note and have them make their software compatible with AB? Or do you know of a requirement from MSI that says they must be compatible? Just sayin...

Sorry if this suggestion has been mooted before but...

In settings how about a "close to tray" option?

I know its me being stupid but I keep hitting close, not minimise..

I say this because when I close instead of minimising all the OC/fan settings revert to normal.. they are not persistant..

or is there something else not making the setting persistant?

I would like to suggest "decoupling" monitoring graphs from OSD data.

Lets say I want to see ONLY Mem Clock, Core Clock, GPU Temperature, Fan speed in the monitoring graphs but I want to see ONLY framerate and core voltage in OSD when in game.
Currently this is not possible (or I do not know how to achieve it). If I want framerate and voltage to be visible in OSD it will also be visible in the monitoring graphs - I found no way to set them independently. If there is a solution, please let me know. Currently, any data that you want to see in OSD will be also displayed in monitoring graphs.

Also, it is not possible to set such keys as: PrintScreen, Scroll Lock, and Pause Break as keys to make a screenshot.
