Damn you politics

I recently upgraded to a new system, of course Ati was the obvious choice seeing as how I had a limited budget(mind you if I had the cash I’d go 4870X2). Anyway compared to my old pc this is like a i7 system.
My old pc specs
P4 2.8 GHz (witch blew and had to be replaced with a P4 Celeron 2.4 Damn you 478).
Gigabyte 865G mobo(witch blew TWICE!! And is the reason for cpu going)
1 gig of Transend ddr400 ram
Sparkle 6200GT 256mb
Aopen 400 watt PSU
1X 80 gig IDE Seagate HDD
1X 500 gig sAta Seagate 32mb cache HDD(the pride of the pc)

My new pc specs
Boistar P43 A7 mobo(damn you buget wanted a p45 mobo)
Corsair XMS 3x1 gig Ram ddr2 -800 O.C to 1066(5-5-5-5-20)
Force3D 4850 1Gig
Intel core 2 duo E7400
Seagate 500Gig 16mb cache Hdd
Gigabyte Odin 470W PSU

Now I got my pc ,a Sync Master 933(with is Horrible btw) ,Keyboard and mouse and Logitech speaker for R6200. (about $4000 DAMN you ****ty country).
My dilemma is simple I am a serious gamer and seeing how I had my old pc for the last 7 years I had quite a few titles to catch up with, And I got into the mojo and started popping games like a machine and loving the (almost full…DAMN YOU screen) HD gaming goodness my pc rates 5.9 on windows 7 64-bit.As fallout 3 mass effect fell in the done list I look at crysis warhead with doubt but installed it anyway and while running fraps excepting disappointment I set all graphic to enthusiast and shallow a big gulp as I started the game…. I was Amazed by the glory of +/- 30 Fps I basically had a mangasm, Lol then there was an explosion and BAM frame drops now the game was unplayable, I went pfft crysis is only eye candy(I now it isn’t). And went on with the Gaming Quest I finished smaller titles like Res 5 and lost planet (great game) And then saw mirrors edge and went Wow I followed the development of this game I think its an amazing title I am so ganna play it now, after a short install I ran the game and POW huh? What’s this now windows goes “would you like to install the PhysX patch” I reply the feisty fellow with a Yes and run the long anticipated mirrors edge And I am blown away by the color scheme and graphic and all is well in the time of mangasmig the cops start shooting at me and KAPOW lags BAD lags INSANE LAGS, I go well my memory is probably full I restart and play again same thing, I turned off physX unwillingly and was then turned off by the game lol sadly again running at 45fps with all on full blast except physX, I played FTW open with two minutes later my game glitches and it doest save the checkpoint so I do the scene the game cuts back to the main menu(HATE that) and then I have to do it over again. Firsty can someone please explain the hole havoc and PhysX thing and secondly explain why the Gaming Gods of winter E-mas hate me so much????

On a final note buy force 3D really I follow the guru’s recommendation(and there actually the normal price here in SA) but wow runs 40ᵒC and great package even better performance plus I got a good game(stalker clear sky)

PhysX is accelerated in hardware by nvidia cards only. Havoc is another physics engine.
Dunno any gaming gods to ask about the second Q.
