Question need a new sound card for gaming/music recording - 09-09-2009, 03:48 | posts: 941 | Location: Canada/Taiwan

currently i'm using creative fatality fps and logitech x-530 (5.1) / headset. i normally use headset during the darkest nights. the problem is that i also mix music with virtual dj & stanton m.303 (3 channels). i hook up the 1st/3rd channel to front/rear of fatality card. i left the center hooked to speaker for monitoring. also when i have to use the headset, the front/rear channel must hook up the speaker. i guess splitter is not an option to lose sound quality on music recording.

1) music recording
creative fatality - front channel to stanton m.303 - channel 1
creative fatality - rear channel to stanton m. 303 - channel 3
creative fatality - center channel to logitech x-530 - center channel

2) gaming
creative fatality - front/rear/center to logitech x.530 / headset

need a new card and also front panel if possible.
