Default Power cooler express -24 celcius under full load!!! Test next monday! - 09-07-2009, 23:19 | posts: 1,739 | Location: Austin | User is Offline

So I just ordered the Power cooler express from frozen cpu.. Should be here monday.. I noticed one person on xtreme systems that managed to reach 5.3 ghz on an i7 with one of these.. I'll let you guys know on monday when it gets here. Super excited!! I wonder whats different about the 2007 version.. The -24 celcius was a dual unit running two cpu's.. This is the same one but a single slot.. Gearing up for the cards as well.. Got a server rack mounted water chiller.. Talked to a metal works company here.. The only problem I could think of was flipping the pcb's on the mars and not being able to mount it in the case because of the I0 shield. So the metal company here is going to make a custom flipped version.. Here is somewhat of my idea thanks to Morbias!!

I just noticed looking at the Mars PCB you might have a problem with that as there is a sticky outy bit next to the PCIe connector; the SLI ribbon cable might not be long enough to safely go around it.

a very sharp precise knife would be the best option TBH... not a regular knife.
