Question Best Fan Controller? - 08-16-2009, 15:54 | posts: 963 | Location: West Chester, PA | User is Offline

Hi guys. I'm looking to purchase a fan controller(looking at the NZXT Sentry 2) in the next week or so. The more fans it controls the better. Also I want plenty of watts per channel so I can daisy chain the fans. Manual or touch screen, it doesn't matter as long as it's quality. I'm looking for user experience & suggestions. The other fan controller threads just don't seem to help much. Thanks.

I believe John has this Sunbeam Rheobus, its 20 watts per channel and it has 4 channels, more than enough for any amount of fans. If you need a bit more channels, they also make a 6 channel rheobus that is 30 watts per channel.

With the first one, the LED will change colors to let you know how high or low the RPM is. On the second, the LED will fade down as the RPMs drop. They don't have any LCDs or anything, its just a simple rheobus that works really well.

They both look promising. Simple, cost effective & powerful.
