Default Overclocking Settings Error - 08-11-2009, 19:56 | posts: 2

I decided to use Rivatuner over nTune because nTune froze my computer every time I attempted an install. I have the newest nVidia drivers for my 9600M GT (186.03), and had to force Rivatuner to recognize the drivers. The real problem starts when I go to the overclocking menu, I check the box that says enable driver level hardware overclocking and the menu pops up saying that I need to detect my clocking settings. I hit detect now and nothing happens, the window just closes. The reboot option doesn't work either. Has anyone run across this?

You have a mobile GPU. I believe mobile GPUs are not supported by RivaTuner
