Help with new ASRock K10N78M motherboard :-( -

I just built a new system on newegg using the ASRock K10N78M motherboard. When I took the motherboard out of the box today, I noticed one of the plastic pieces holding the chipset heatsink down was missing. I then found it in the bottom of the bag which the motherboard was in. When I tried to insert it back into the hole to clamp the chipset heatsink down, I found it clicks in but still allows the heatsink to come off the chipset, almost 0.3" or so. I'll probably end up RMAing the thing back to Newegg, but does anybody know how I could fix this myself and clamp it down? The small plastic piece just doesn't lock in enough to hold it. Here's the images where you can see what I'm talking about. Also, the other side of the heatsink is clamped all the way down and touching the motherboard.

This is how it should be

And here's the newegg link.
