Default Rivatuner problem - 05-20-2009, 18:27 | posts: 1

I have a BFG Nvidia 7900GT, driver 175.19, bios 5.71.22.27.01.

The program has been working well, for 6-8 months, until recently when I tried pushing my OC up a bit.
The problem I have is when I launch my game, the OC profile kicks in just fine, fans at 100%, but after 45-60 seconds, the low level fan goes down to a 20% level, the card overheats, I start getting artifacts. Dont know where the 20% came from, I dont have it set up in a profile. Back to square one. I have always had only 2 low level fan profiles, 25% and 100%. I reset the settings to default, then establish a new profile, tried again, same thing. So I disabled low level fan control, went to the direct control menu, set to 100% and applied, started the game up, same thing, fan speed goes back to 20% after a few seconds. Can't figure it out.
