ok i just bought the game, i need a decent server cos all im seeing is quake style shooting and its ****ing boring, everyone just runs round in no perticular fashion blasting anything that moves, this isnt what i bought COD4 for, i thought there would be a little team work and lots of use of the VOIP but so far all ive seen is gunho.

Tell me this isnt how its played.

you got to get intot the modded servers. there you can find what you are looking for. I play mostly TDM on Maniaxe. I be down to get into a clan with you guys though.

Keep in mind you're getting into the game a little late.. a lot of players have already had their time in the sun with MW2 and have moved on to other games or are waiting for the next installment.

And FTR, by playing "gunho" it allows me to finish top spot in many matches.. I spend a good 50% of the map running to get to the ideal positions. Most cases my teammates are sitting in one spot waiting for death and all I can hope is that once in a while I get some cover fire

NOBS servers people get teamwork going. Sadly VOIP isn't enabled on those servers because a buddy of mine spammed the hell out of it. >_>

But this is looking good though, aside from the adbot people are interested.

NoBS has a zomb server up. A lot of people play on it.

I would join as long as were not playing 4 vs 4 or anything less than 10 vs 10. I prefer total chaos to tactical matches. It's just more fun for me that way. I mostly play on 40 or 50 person servers.

Oh, I almost forgot. I wont play if you guys suck. I hate losing. My KD ration is 3.2. Membership into the clan should require a KD ratio of at least 1 preferably 1.5 or 2.

I'm not trying to be a jerk (even though I am) I just don't want to join a clan where all my team mates are using noob tubes and Martyrdom.

This isn't the clan for you then, because this isn't a serious thing. It's just something we do as forum members to enjoy a game. It's welcome to anyone, regardless of skill or anything. It's not competitive.

So, I asked Hilbert if it was okay to use the guru3d name for clan, he said it was okay. So, the clan is going. Only thing we need to do is setup the rest.

Alright, well working on getting a server for cod4 going. Looking at dedicated online servers right now as I don't have any machines capable for a task like a cod4 server right now. As for when we can get this started, I'll have to setup like a teamspeak or ventrilo server for a chat on anyone who has ideas for the clan until we get things going. If anyone knows of a decent host that has atleast 10gb of storage, with decent bandwidth, at low or no price at all( That would be really really nice), then either post the link here, or send me a PM.

I dont know of anywhere at the moment that does free hosting.

that's all you needed to say and I know exactly what kind of skills you have. Playing 4v4 or 10v10 is where you really need the skills. Anyone can sit there in a corner and spawnfrag with 40 people in a map.

1. I had the game

2. My connection wouldn't be uber crap

3. I played on a cracked server once, just to try it out without buying and I was losing quite a lot

and once later the admin left the serv, some cheater guy popped in and ruined the whole fun! But it was getting late also, so I just went to bed.

But seriously, WTF? I just got killed all the time and it gave me the feeling, that every player was a cheater, or just too damn good...

Or, is it just that I'm getting that old?(18 yrs old

Thats what punk busters for matey to stop cheating HAXOR scum... (people that ruin the games)

Ive a mate thats very handy with that sort if thing and he's managed to get a level code so he can play all guns and makes him level 55 which is megahigh.. When punk busters on he cant use it, it wont allow him to use the server so the game is saved and all can fight to the death fair and square,

Get the game buddy its truley awsome...
