Hi can anyone point me in the direction of software to record games and up-load them on youtube?... like fraps but for free?

XFire can record videos and it's free.
Uploading is probably not part of the package, however. That'll be done manually after some editing.

It's not working assigned 2 keys and when in game press them but nothing happens how come...

Xfire works here.

Recording video takes **** loads of PC power, I made 1:41min video, which took over 800Mb. I think it was something like 820mb, Xfire compressed it after gaming, compressed size was about 9,5mb and uploaded to my profile.

Xfire will only work with selected games can't get Race07 or GTR Evolution to record...

There is a free game record software, E.M. Free Game Capture.

capturing games when you play your games
recording changes of desktop
supports different video formats(avi, flv, mkv, iPod , iPhone and so on)

Sure is free is you want to record in anything lower than 15 fps...trying select higher means you have to register an pay $30.

15fps is better than nothing. it is just for personal entertainment
