Can I run a blueray mc on this?

Processor: Intel I7 920
Mainboard: EVGA X58 x3 sli
Memory: 6gigs patriot 1600
Soundcard: onboard
PSU: Antec TPQ 850

Im new to media center pcs. So I was wondering if I could turn my old rig into a blueray mc.

here it is:

cpu- amd athlon 64 x2 5000+
gpu- pny geforce 9600gt 512mb
430w antec psu
500gig seagate hdd

I used to watch 1080p mkv files on my old X2 4200+ @2.7ghz + 8800GT which only used software utilization (CPU) so I'm sure you could play Blu-Ray with GPU hardware acceleration to add in to the mix.
