Sometimes very entertaining products can be the cheapest ones around. Especially for graphics cards this rule applies very often. In the high-end segment you need to have luck to tweak and overclock...

Hi,

One question here : are all the Avivo Video settings available on catalyst control center ? I'm refering specifically to :
- de-noise (can it be set manually anywhere from 0 to 100%)
- edge enhancement (same)
- de-interlacing (do you have the choice of method between weave, bob, adaptative, motion adaptative and vector pixel adaptative)

I have a powercolor 4650 fanless, on which those options are greyed out and not accessible. It would be a BIOS limitation from the manufacturer.

How about this card ?

Ben

Sounds and looks like a nice option for a HTPC.

It is - I have a HTPC with a 4650 fanless, Zalman case. Blu Rays at 1080p24 are awesome. HDTV 1080i is great too. Temperature never goes above 50°C. Good product.

Just make sure the damn options are available in CCC...
