Title says it all, in the market for a laptop. $1,149.99 would be my max. Would be looking to play eq2 most the time.. Thanks!

If you go with the Gateway, I know that it will perform well. I can play Crysis on my Gateway P6860FX, which has a little lower specs than the P7805uFX. The Gateway has a little lower resolution on a bigger screen, which will help keep games from bogging down the system. You will also get half a gig more video ram with the Gateway. My P6860FX came with a Vista disc, which included both 32bit and 64bit versions.

I say go with the Gateway, you'll be happy with it. You'll definitely be able to play games on it.

yeah, the G50Vt-X5 is good, but the 1366x768 res might get annoying.

may i suggest something like an MSI GT627?

then again, only 1280x800 res... i think the gateway is best, if it has higher res...

yet for $1350 you can get a notebook with a mobility 4850... it would blow away the 9800m GS, and GTS.
