Current build. Lian Li A71, still a few more mods and hardware upgrades/changes to made yet but she's full functional (specs to left):






Rebuild with some minor changes coming next weekend.

Next case (custom white/blue Lian Li V2K) is at the powdercoaters right now.

 

Simple question, I want to buy the same fan grills, but the "frames" look more red or orange in real? because in the description they say it's red, but on the pics they look orange

 

yeah chances are they will look orange just like red feser looks pink, orange feser looks brownish...

 

D-Cyph3r - what fluid are u using for your red liquid?

Not much has changed, but I cleaned up the wiring to a point where I can not get it any better than this.

EDIT: Wow, I just noticed the red part on the GTX260 looks really pink in these pictures... uke2:

any one know of good LED fans that ar quiet and udere £10 i was looking at Akasa AK-274CG-4GNS 12cm Crystal Green Frame With LED for £6 including vat each

 

Not much has changed. Have to do some cablework soon though, it's pretty damn ugly when the lighting in the case is on.



Will take some new shots from the other PC's around the house, 1 of those looks way better than this one. Cables tucked away always looks nicer

 

quick update done some prep work for second GFX card and 2 new rear fans (green)

rig with fans moded behind the HDD cage they were at the back.

same case lol just decided to do some proper cable management moved rear fans to mid way but wating for new rear fans to arive and get my secong graphics card in 9 hours

The little fan on the rams is from an old 939 cpu, it just rocks :banana:

 

lol what water cooling kit is that and strange retention mechanism on the cpu block ,Push pins ?????

 

It's a Corsair Nautilus 500 kit and sadly it uses push pins uke2:, but I'll buy some bolts to make a REAL retention mechanism someday

Hate to post the same pic again as in Part 4.... but i'm just curious as to opinions/ideas people might have

Kinda tryin to think of a way to keep my GTX 295 cooler than it is, short of needing to buy an entire water cooling kit when a water block comes out or going to some other extreme. There are two things i was kinda thinking about:

1) trying to make/buy some kind of duct to go from the bottom fan straight to the GTX 295's fan. i know the air generally makes it there, but i was thinking if i could kinda channel it straight into the hole, or channel MORE of it straight into the hole, it'd probably cool it quite nicely if it's not really using much of any case-temp air.

2) Maybe someone has an idea as to how i might be able to attach a fan or something to exhaust some air from the vents on the side of the card out the holes near the rear. I'd been thinking of maybe a side panel fan... but i REALLY don't wanna cut the side of my Cosmos, nor do i feel like paying for a side panel with a window or the side panel window kit.

any idea's?

edit: oh, and i kinda plan on flipping the PSU over so the fan is drawing air from under the case like it kinda should. hate that the non-modular cables would then be on the opposite side as the mobo tray.... which is probably why i've been saying i'd do that ever since i got the thing. lol
