Default Asus hd4870x2 tri fan liquid cooling? - 01-18-2009, 21:04 | posts: 12 | Location: Shaolin NY

Hi, i have a Asus hd4870x2 tri fan card and was thinking bout upgrading my system to liquid cooling.

Ive been looking around and it seems for me to apply a liquid cooling system to the card i would have to remove the case, fans and heatsinks from the face side.

Is there any cooling system (fan, liquid, anything) i could add to reduce the heat without dismantling my card?

Better case flow.

This doesn't mean more fans, it means well placed fans. It takes a while to explain, just google case airflow, and see what you come up with. Because you can have 10 fans on a case that do worse than three well placed ones.
