Default Linux Catalyst 9.2 Beta - 01-07-2009, 10:21 | posts: 577 | Location: Egypt

Although in 2009 the first edition of Catalyst 9.1 has not yet formally released, but for the 9.2 version of Linux systems have already leaked out.
This beta version of driver is added to expand on a number of new OpenGL support, including GLX_SGI_video_sync and so on, also supports the configuration display backlighting.
It is learned that the driver is in the CES 2009 show preview used to do, but it was not clear what in the end will be used for demonstration projects. Linux users interested worth a try.

Where is Windows 9.1 driver leak?
I wonder if those are different branches and maybe Linux Catalyst 9.2 is just like Windows Catalyst 8.12... I mean Linux goes after

If he doesn't have an ATI card, as he stated in his previous posts...it would be rather hard for him to verify the driver version, though he could PM me a link to them for verification. For those that haven't used 8.12hotfix, the driver version is 8.561.8...so 9.1 would have to be 8.562 or higher....
