Default issue with vista 64 - 01-06-2009, 10:17 | posts: 2 | Location: france

Hello,

I'm using ATT (xp 32) for a long time and have change my PC for christmas
Now i'm running on Vista 64 and i'm unable to use ATT 1.6.9.1374.

Here what i Have done.

Fresh install of Vista 64 (fully updated) and all needed drivers installed
Catalyst 8.12 with CCC

When installing latest beta of ATT, there is no error message
I am unable to start atitray64.sys with srvinst

So i have downloaded ATTloader and it doesnt work (service is still not running)
my mcafee detect a virus "atsiv" (so i desactivate it before running)

I have succesfully started the service by launching vista 64 in testmode

(reading the forum, i was sure Ray have made a new beta not needing testmode and including ATTlauncher).

Now ATT can be run but when i want to overclock my card, ATT windows cannot be closed and buttons of the interface
have no effect. (i need to kill the task)

I have tried different way to launch the software (ie, run as admin) but same result as above.

Thank you in advance for all your valuable help

atsiv is not a virus, it is a tool to force load ATT lowleveldriver. It is detected as a virus because ms dont want people loading unsigned drivers without pay us500 per year
