I think so too? I thought that now it would be watercooled since there wasn't wc parts out month ago...

No you saw one photo on what we where working on, not this article.

WC parts are in though - so the artcile will be updated.

Ok , I think its fair to give away this rig at the next new years contest ! few reasons..

1 - everybody here will be really happy for a whole year ( excluding mods )
2 - there will be new hardware released by then
3 - popularity of this site will go up if done correctly
4 - presents rocks

Good news, our favorite website now has an up-to-date test rig, good stuff

On a little note, I'll be skipping X58 as of what I did with X48, think I'll even wait for X78 ( yeah I plan far ahead but I don't like changing motherboards XD)

Thats an amazing looking rig and a very very cool design, have to say though i think the inside look great as is, it's very neat and clear, i think the water pipes would ruin it, but that's me as i'm not a fan of water pipes all over the show.

If Phenom II could do that, yeah of course. Fastest processor wins.

Very smexy rig, but that brown/cream colored cpu fan (noctua iirc) just doesn't look good in it x_x. Other than that, lookin' good!

1x 150 GB Raptor (NVIDIA VGA test OS)
1x 150 GB Raptor (64-bit platform / memory testing)

The motherboard used, the ASUS X58 Rampage II Extreme ROG, has 7 SATA ports...

For example, you can have a (software) boot loader and then select each OS upon the start of the boot process, or the motherboard offers an option, when you start the PC, to push a key to select which HDD should be booted from...
