Default 88GT for PhysX but ATI for main gpu? - 11-05-2008, 23:51 | posts: 4,795 | Location: UK

So if I upgrade to say a 4850/4870, would it be possible to then use my 88gt as physX, or is that the most stupid question anyone can ask because you need nvidia drivers to run the physx but catalyst for the ati card? (I'm realising this as im typing)

But I know nothing about PhysX so I'm allowed to ask moronic questions

Let me down gently..

You know, I've never seen any response to this exact question. Maybe it's because I don't pay attention enough, but I don't see why it would cause any major problems though as long as you can set the ati card as the primary card. But, you would need to change your psu.
