6308 on 3DMark06. That's an improvement, can't find the results of previous drivers right now but I'll try to post them soon.

Waiting on the vista release. Last time side modded the 178.13 they were awesome, I'm hoping these are just as good or better.

Just a question, why mod the 180.42 and not the 180.43.?

180.43 has various issues eg down clocking of certain gpus in certain games. using sides 178.13 i have not experienced that at all anymore. also some say dv is broken in 180.43 and farcry crashes. imo 180.42 is more stable of driver for him to mod then the .43. even tho i have not tried .42 myself yet... may get around to it, tho i want to know if theres any down clocking issues in it before i try it.

Side did a better job than Tweakforce on the 178.13's. I haven't run Side's New 180.42's yet...Downloaded not installed.

Running the Tweakforce ATM but will install Sides tomorrow!

NV is i guess what you compare to, it's like a stock car. Aint bad if you're just looking to get from Point A to Point B

TF, and Sides, are like modding your cars, and trying to get more performance.

Can someone Rapidshare (or something) the XP32 version of Tweakforce 180.42? Their site appears to be down.

Cheers

Well guys....Interesting stuff,

I ran the XG's from Tweakforce and Sides. They are very close this time. I left Sides in because....on my rig they're just a bit smoother.

In all you can't make a mistake. TF's or Sides, It's all good! Test them on your own rigs and compare.

Good Driving,
Decon

Left 4 Dead ran terrible for me using Sides. FPS was fine and all but I got serious freezeups. Whole system would just lock with sound repeating, screen froze, whole bit.

Switched back to the stock 180.42's and runs fine and smooth again. Kinda sucks. I really liked Sides previous set.
