sweet, i just hope by 'improved performance' they mean 'wont crash after 20 minutes of play'

I just installed this driver... got a BSOD on my first reboot (vista x64) then it started fine.

Performance in FC2 (just from eyeballing it) seems to be about the same as the last hotfix. Stuttering in DX10 is still there.

In addition, I am still getting microstuttering in all my games now, which appeared when i upgraded from 8.7 to the first 8.10 hotfix.

It looks like this driver was mainly for the stalker fixes and I think BiA fix as listed on ATI's site as compared to the last hotfix.

    this driver sucks!
3d mode doesnt work anymore (staying in 2d mode all the time!),
also the amd gpu clock tool doesnt work.

I've just installed this driver, and played Far Cry 2 for about an hour, and i can say that it is much more smooth in DX10(ultrahigh) with 8xAA. Actually more smooth and higher fps than i had with DX9 (very high) 8xAA with the previous hotfix.

The sad thing is, that the crashing in DX10 are NOT fixed.

Yupp, same crash problem as before, lost about one fps in benchmark but the game is a litte more smooth. I was hoping I could play in many hours without getting crash... what's wrong ATI ?

    lol.

why the hell they release a hotfix for a game, and that hotfix makes the game crash?

well... waiting for next official drivers.
