Anyone else have problem installing these ?

For some strange reason it installs only the IDE driver and nothing else.

Jezus christ, the nvidia driver team is on fire. New forceware drivers, new quadro drivers and now these new nforce drivers.

I'm downloading these as we speak and will report back later.

EDIT: These drivers are flawed. Or at least the installation package is. When trying to install these drivers all seems to go well. But when you look closely you can see the install bar go to fast. The only thing that seems to be installed is the IDE-driver.

At the moment I'm using fernando's whql performance pack 4.1 combined with the ide drivers of the nforce 20.08 package.

Yes and I might add no freakin' improvements in any of them(not worth mentioning anyway).
At least not in the Forceware and nForce drivers(which btw don't even support nForce 5 motherboards).

I can't comment on how the drivers work for you, But because they don't work for you or don't improve anything on your system. It doesn't have to mean that it's the same for everybody else.

Even so, these drivers a not installing properly, so until a fix arrives I cannot comment on how they perform and what they fixed or broke.

For everybody who missed my post please go upwards on this page to see my previous post.

Haha your right, good find. I didn't even notice that they were the same. Nvidia trying to scam us with these drivers? I'm guessing they used an older driver because some people were having problems (I was one of them) with the the driver of the 15.23 nforce drivers.

Nvidia is a joke. Seriously all the new drivers are a joke, the ethernet doesn't even work on 780i and 790i chipsets even though these are the drivers they point you to. Might aswell not even make a unified driver pack if it doesn't work correctly for your best chipsets. Also in the new forceware drivers DV is still broken and yes i know how to fix this but why am i having to do this. Also,[side] can get DV working but nvidia can't [REALLY WTF]. I love nvidia but i'm honestly so sick of this half assed bs. Sorry if i offend anyone or come off as an a-hole,but this is getting rediculous.

Straight Junk!

Come on...

For those with xp64 (idk about vista users...) going back to 15.23 remember not to install sata-raid drivers... use the sata-raid drivers (mediashield components) from 9.64 cause of the crappy performance with 15.23 sata-raid!

I suppose the old Network driver is due to some problem with the newest, especially for people like me that use DHCP.
It would take more than 1 minute sometime for the DHCP settings to be acquired, cannot give any performance feedback as I just cannot/don't want to use the fix IP settings.

The drivers have been pulled of nvidia.com. The ones available for download now are the nforce 15.23 drivers. We were correct that the drivers were flawed.

Well good news! Since the 20.08 driver was the EXACT same driver as the 15.23 driver minus the gpu driver and it has an OLDER ethernet driver no one should be disappointed. Just grab the latest gpu driver and use the 15.23 driver...you will be better off.

As a side note if you think the 20.08 drivers are flawed then surely the 15.23 drivers are as well since they are the same.

Imagine the shame involved if you worked for nvidiot driver section. At a party other geeks ask you where you work. You reply, "I develop nforce/forceware drivers" and receive the contemptuous and mocking looks as they say "wow that is a great job".
