Seems to be exactly the same files as in the earlier thread, exactly as the OP said. So no need to change if you already have that one.

Only difference I see is this:

Earlier:CatalogFile=CH_69996.CAT

This one: CatalogFile=CH_69997.CAT

But same driver version and date.

I don't see any change (for good or worse) from 8.9 Display Drivers. I don't use CCC so I can't comment on that(ATT all the way!).

3dmark06:
8.9 whql --> 12411
8.10 whql --> 12521

In Crysis, I think there's a decrease in gaming perfomance.

Why FRAPS cannot run on Crysis? This game crashes immediately in the first logo screen.

The auto fan control in CCC is running smoothly and perfectly. In idle, temperature is around 40ēC with auto fan speed of 7%.

But I think I will have to install again RT (maybe I will wait for v2.20 release), no? To watch FPS and card temperature during gaming runs.

the change log says they added the fan feature but doesn't say its only for 4000's series only, which it is since all the people who can see it in CCC are only 4000's series users.

Yeah, no fan control here either. One change I noticed is that, when overclocking the GPUs in CCC, previous Catalysts had the "test custom clocks" function only for the first 2 gpus in the dropdown list. Now you can run the test on all 4 cores.

No biggie, I guess.

Cat 8.9 were running just fine, Then I saw 8.10 supposedly has fan control. So I uninstalled 8.9 Cat's and installed 8.10 Cats. Huge freaking mistake! now It wil not boot properly and often I get the errorcould not load file on assembly 'MOM.Implementation' blah blah blah message. I have tried counteless times uninstalling the Cats and Drivers. I have used Driver Cleaner Pro. It's still refuses to boot up most the time fully, unless I go into safe mode. What a mess!!

I looked up what other people did to fix this type of error and followed the dircetions, still no fix.

I had this happen one other time a year or 2 back, and I ended up finding an old Catalyst version that loaded up and fixed the problem. I am so pissed off at ATI. wtf is is bs?

and the last with these new drivers i there is no option to enable crossfire. both cards are showing up in device manager. but catalyst only sees one but yet in games i can tell crossfire is working but i just cant see it in ccc. any ideas on this

Don´t blame ATI, cause the driver package is working. The problem must be on your side. Uninstall the package, reboot into safe mode, run drivercleaner pro, reboot and reinstall the driver.
Hope that helps.
