"Meep meep ... will it be fast ? Let's startup some benchmarks and find out."

That bit had me laughing

That rear fan is awful, I thought 'how loud can it be?', and then I watched the video. Still, at least it sounds like a VW camper!

I'm all for custom PCs and a nice paint job can make it look awesome. Although the original VW bus is a legend, the VW-PC looks horrible imo, though. Maybe something you could put in your five year old kid's room. Besides that:

Nice review as always, though.

I don't like it either, they have much better custom PCs.

PPCs carries a whole whack of Smooth Creations' CM customizations, including the VW bus ($800)

Would go Quad sli/Xfire before buying ... that or any other 800$ pc case

As a matter of fact, going crossfire with next gen card does sound interesting

Good point. Yeah, it's tougher to justify cosmetics when you think of the hardware that could be bought instead. (He says, while looking at his stripped down Cosmos, still trying to finalize a colour scheme)

But, geez, especially considering that custom paint on a Cosmos involves 4 pretty different surfaces (brushed alu panels/ cast alu rails/ plastic frame & top/ acrylic control panel) it's pretty amazing they offer these for even $800.
