ATT Vista 64 loader -
10-04-2008, 12:11
| posts: 70 | Location: Chile | User is Offline
Hi, first of all, sorry by my bad english XD.
My loader allow ATT to run in Vista 64, i think this is the safests way because it dont allow any unsigned driver to be loaded, only the ATT one. The loader dont enable testgisning, dont instal anything, it only use old atsiv method and binaries to load ATT driver in run-time.
Notes: Disable UAC and Windows Defender.
I apreciate any feedback
Download Link: http://rapidshare.com/files/150928433/ATTLoader.rar
Aditional instructions to use with UAC and Windows Defender enabled (Thanks to Risco):
1. Place the loader in the ATT folder
2. In control panel go to scheduled tasks
3. In right hand pane select "create task"
4. Type in name then tick "run with highest privileges"
5. Click triggers, click new then choose "at log on"
6. Click actions and browse to attloader
7. Click conditions and untick everything
8. Close everything
9. Log off windows, then back on and ATT will load automatically!
NOTE: Dont forget to uncheck "Load with windows" option from ATT wherever you use or not UAC.

Hi,
works fine. Thank you very much.
ATTLoader is needed only for the first start.
But really fine would it be to start ATT with some parameters like that:
"D:\Programme\Vista64\ATI Tray Tools\atitray.exe" /loadgame "Warhammer"
Is that possible?
Otherwise i will create a link like:
cmd.exe /c start D:\Programme\Vista64\ATI Tray Tools\ATTLoader.exe & start "D:\Programme\Vista64\ATI Tray Tools\atitray.exe" /loadgame "Warhammer"
Sorry for my english too ^^

ATTLoader is needed only for the first start.
|
Each time you boot into windows o login your windows account (use only to automatic startup, after you run ATT firs time, the loader is not need)
i will try to explain ir with my poor english .
The loader really is not a Ati Tray Tool loader, the loader check if the Aty Tray Tool Low level driver is loaded, if not, it load the low level driver and then run att, if the low level driver is already loaded, the loader only run ati tray tool executable, so, the loader only work as loader the first time...so afer the first run with the loader (from startup folder or with registry entrys) you can run ati tray tool without the loader ("D:\Programme\Vista64\ATI Tray Tools\atitray.exe" /loadgame "Warhammer" by example).
i hope you can understanme xDDDDDDD.
PD: you not need run "D:\Programme\Vista64\ATI Tray Tools\atitray.exe" /loadgame "Warhammer" to load a profile, if you run "Warhammer" by example, ati tray tool detect it automatically and change the 3D profile. (it detect the exe name)

Defender is not a problem for me (it's already disabled) but I'd like to keep UAC enabled.
Is it possible?

The only problem with UAC is the security prompt, if is not problem for you one click, you can keep UAC enabled.

Hello
i just run readydriver plus!
ReadyDriver Plus install itself as boot.bin file, and then modifies Windows Vista Boot Configuration Data (BCD), which is then read by Windows Boot Manager (the bootloader for Vista) to load ReadyDriver. When Windows Vista boot loader reads BCD, it loads ReadyDriver which will then makes the appropriate selection to disable Signed Driver Signature Enforcement, based on what user choose to install. So in a way, ReadyDriver Plus manages to permanently disable driver signing enforcement in Windows Vista, both x32 and x64, by automatically select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” option in the “Advanced Boot Options” menu on system startup.

The problem is that readydriver plus make your system vulnerable because any non-signed driver can be loaded. Another minor problem are the two or three seconds lost on bootmenu.
My loader only need to by clicked/doble clicked xD.
sorry my bad english

Oh my god mate, you are a bloody star! It works and I can even get it running in vista at startup with UAC and Defender running!
All you need to do is the following:
- Place the loader in the ATT folder
- In control panel go to scheduled tasks
- In right hand pane select "create task"
- Type in name then tick "run with highest privileges"
- Click triggers, click new then choose "at log on"
- Click actions and browse to attloader
- Click conditions and untick everything
- Close everything
- Log off windows, then back on and ATT will load automatically!

I dont agree with princess frosty, im totally thankful for youre free great app, but just wondering: isnt there some tool that can fake driver signing?? Im not 100% sure, but I have heard of one before?? Just hoping you can fix the driver somehow in the future so we can use this tool without this hassel.
Oh btw, thanks to OP for fixing this annoyance with x64. Thank you!
