Hey,

I'd really like to know if i could split a file i converted from MKV using mkv2vob v2.2.4 (MPG). I have huge files and i want to put them on DVD's. I've tried everything, and nothing until now.

Thanks a lot in advance, and great site!

There is a split file setting in mkv2vob that will spilt it for you......its in the configration tab called file splitting.

Can i ask why you need to split it, is it to transfer HD movie to say the PS3 or is it just to store them on a optical format.

I stream 5 gig HD movies straight onto the PS3 HD with TVersity to bypass the 4gig limit of fat 32 on portable storage, plus i use 8.5 dual layered DVDs to store them off the HD....

The reason i need to split them is to store them on DVD's. Is there a way to split the video after i converted it? Because i deleted the source and all i have now is an MPG file which is 8.9 GB. I've tried every program on the internet to try to split it and nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated.
