That's an interesting review. Nice features.

How's the quality of that BIOS switch? I assume it is not intended for daily use.

palit brands are pretty popular in our place and are having really nice reviews, specially their Sonic and Sonic+ editions. And if i can remember palit actually owns gainward now along with Xpertvision

On page 7, it states that various ATI cards as well as various Nvidia 9000 series cards are tested. I did not see any Nvidia cards tested at all. Would like to see tests against Nvidia cards. Also this turbo can be used daily, since in the revies it says no harm is caused by running it all the time.

Does the turbo mode affect noise level and power usage in any significant way?
it seems like the memory clocks stay at 1000 when using turbo. so i was wondering if the 250 clock difference causes any major differences for the card in idle.

Secondly, the RV770 graphics processor disposes a lot of heat, it's why you need that big cooler. What you don't want with a dual-slot cooler, it for it to dump that heat inside your PC. If you do not have proper ventilation in your PC, other components will get warmer as well. So you get the idea I guess, though the Sonic cooler it cools well, I very much dislike the high noise levels it makes. (...)
I absolutely second that!

Yeah but can it FOLD?!

can it outfold a 8800GT?

Ya know there are tons of people who take folding into account when getting Vid cards and it is not only a shame that PPD is not included in reviews but negligent.
