yah these drivers are definitely not ready for prime time. Spore crashed on me constantly and hell got Vista to lock up about 3 times when I used these.

Went back to v177.92 and everything is fine again. I think I'll wait for v178.xx or whatever they jump to next.

Dont see any reason why i should install these drivers, no big changes anyway, and mostly negative reports, sticking with 177.92 wich are stable on all games

Well, for my laptop (7400 Go), these new drivers (and modified inf) did the trick to get Spore working properly. It was crashing when the Creature Stage loaded. I think my driver was pretty old since I rarely bother with it as this laptop isn't used for gaming very often.

Using 177.66 for my main rig, having no issues so can't speak to these newer ones for that.

hello i just have made a good deal and exchange my 2 9800gtx+ for a PSU and a MSI 260 OC...

i try with 177.92 everything work very fine...

i try with 177.98 and i get horrible saturated color... i go back to 177.92 and it goes on.

i have to pass by the "VGA standard" drivers and goes back to 177.92 to get it fine... 177.98 suck

I had to go back to the 177.92 drivers. The digital vibrance was killing me. It just won't stay at the point where I save it to. I did gain a speed increase. However the bad outweighed the good on this one.

From all found issues (unwanted collateral shaders effects, texturing artifacts) in compatibility with ForceWare 177.98, I think we have deal with ForceWare for Quadro VideoCards. It just my opinion...

i had BSOD with these, the performance in Assassins creed was smoother but I got crashes so I went back to the 177.92's although those give me artifacts also. But they run smooth but the horrible bios resting is back now so I have no idea what to do about that.

Going back...

yes i explain : 2 x 9800 GTX = +/- 1 x GTX260 OC with less heat (it doesn't matter to lost 2 or 3 fps)

and it had a Antec PSU brand new from his stock so it's a good deal

DV stands for Digital Vibrance, it's a color enhancement technique which in fact is very good, just try it and you'll probably wont be able to live without it,lol.

To turn it in go to the Nvidia Control Panel, into the 'Adjust desktop color settings' and set the desired Digital Vibrance value
