Currently I have the Asus Silent Square but Ive never been truley happy with it, It obviously better than the intel stock, lol
Whats the BEST air cooler that I can get? Im eyeing up the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, seems pretty solid in reviews.

It depends on how much money you're willing to spend and time.
The TRUE-120 is great, but out of the box at $56, it won't hold up to other coolers like the Xigmatek HDT-S1283, OCZ V2, or the Core-Contact Freezer which can be had for under $40 out of the box.
Here's a simple break down:
TRUE-120 = $56
Decent Fan = $9 (say a Scythe Flex 1900rpm)
Lapping Kit = $15 (DIY @ Hardware store $6)
Washer mod = free if you have some washers laying around
So that's $80 (excluding shipping for each extra item you ordered) or $70 if you DIY lapping kit and drive to the hardware store. Shipping for everything needed on the TRUE will cost you around an extra $15
So after you got your goods, you have to lap the base and hope you don't mess it up. Once that is done, you use the washer mod to get better mounting pressure.
For $35 (free ship at the 'egg), you can buy a Xig, pull it out of the box, and install it on your CPU. You're done.

I use the tried and true Thermaltake Big Typhoon. You can find it renamed as the CL-P0310.
I've used this thing in one PC for over 3 years and another for almost 1 year.

They're good for stock, but as soon as ambients pick up or you want to push it (overclocking) your best off looking elsewhere.

i love my BIG BERTHA
Scythe "OROCHI" 10Heat Pipes CPU Cooler
you put a good fan on it,it would rate much higher in reveiws easy install too
you can run a quad with the fan that comes with, its noiseless (if thats your thing).
its kinda big for most cases, but if you have no case.....look no farther

the best is up for grabs really. If you can take a little more noise, the TRUE with two high speed fans is generally regarded as the best. With low speed fans, the S1283 and OCZ vendetta 2 take a little advantage.
