Hello, Just had a question about installing it. Do i just go to their website (Here) And then just download it? Or do i need to do anything before i download it?

you need to make sure you have all the important updates installed via the windows update service

then you can go ahead with the install of SP1 without a hitch

You can install SP1 at any time. Those important updates are also included within the downloadable SP1 file, but installing SP1 right away from a fresh Vista install takes a little longer than when the needed updates are already installed.

On average, I find it takes about 45-50 minutes from the time Vista first boots to the time it boots after SP1 is installed. I use Wundows Update the whole time, though, so it may be a little faster to run redistributable.

The downloaded redistributable is the faster way, at least judging from my own numerous Vista installations.
