This is what I am getting in Malaysia.
It's not awesome but video and music is streaming pretty well so I've got no complaints.

This is the real life speed my mobile data plan gets:

10 €/month unlimited data. Galaxy S is bottlenecking since max download speed it can do is 7,2 Mbit/s.
Our ADSL2+ maxes out at 1,4 MB/s.

Upgraded to Lumia and this is what I get now, same 3G network (theoretical max is 21 Mbit/s, no DC and no LTE):

Now my 10 €/month unlimited mobile data plan rocks the crap out of our almost 4x more expensive ADSL2+ when it comes to pure download speeds...
EDIT:
Well, apparently it is DC.

Just got an upgrade today:

Bandwidth may not be that much but it's 4x faster than what I had before I also like the ping. It had already been very good with my old line and got even better after the upgrade.

thing is the speed is too high. it should be up to 40 and its hitting 50 plus and Im sometimes getting corrupted downloads on large files sometimes
me think they are using booster to get the high speed.
