Looks like its working fine.

Does anyone know? And will use of AA ever be restored?

Frontlines: Fuel of War plays much smoother with older beta 174.60
(Vista x64, GTS G92)

I get very close to constant 60fps with all settings maxed out (except motion blur) @ 1680x1050, forced 16xAF from NV CPL. It also has given best 3DM06 points.

I've got a old spare HDD, installed XP x64 on that and tested 169.44 & 174.74: 169.44 was better/faster I saw max 0,5% gain using XP x64 vs Vista x64

lads, off topics. anyone know in nHancer , in the compatibility tabs, there's AA compatibility. there's a list of option which i don't know what it is for. SO the question is, what does it do?

If thats the WHQL set, then that will be because the WHQL set are only for the 9 series.

I dunno, this driver cut my framerate in World in Conflict a lot. Almost all high settings @ 1680x1050, I would get an average of 52fps with the benchmark using 174.53 I believe (damn, can't remember with all these driver releases coming out). Now, I get about 30 avg. Even after lowering my res to 1440x900, I couldn't reach 50+ avg with this driver.

Tom's Hardware did a review of the 9800GTX and said that all G92s (including 8800GT and 8800GTS 512) should get a performance boost from these drivers. Has anyone tried this yet with their G92s? Will try these when I get home. If you think about it, the 9800GTX and the 8800GTS 512 are basically the same, they use the same G92 core, except for core and memory frequency. They both have 128 cores, 256-bit memory bandwidth.

I just installed these drivers for my 7600GS card running xp 32 bit. I gained over 100 points on 3DMark05 and Aquamark. I am happy with the drivers thus far. I left everything at the default settings for now and am very pleased with the IQ and colors. I am going to keep these for now.

If you're getting card not supported issues then try copying the inf file from the 174.74 beta to the Nvidia setup folderr which is usually created when you have first run the WHQL installer on your system drive.
Nvidia is only trying to push these ones for the 9xxx series as to give only them supported performance increases when these 174.xx drivers help all cards.
