At first I want to say thanks to all who helped to buy new 3870 board for my laboratory and personal thanks to BHAIRAVA from HWUPGRADE.IT who started it

HD 3870 now in my primary computer so I will do my best to implement full support.

What should you do before starting to use this beta:
1. Disable autoloading to any other overclocking tools
2. Restart computer and install ATT

Using overclocking in ATT will disable (for current session) OverDrive functionality of Catalyst (as it was with X1xxx ). Functionality will be restored after restart and I hope after clicking "Default clocks" button in ATT.

Please everyone with HD 2x,3x boards test it. And in your first post please provide full SysInfo report from ATT System Information menu.

Should i unistall Rivatuner, or it's enough to disable autoload of any profile to Windows startup?

Just disable, no needs to uninstall it.
You need it because I want reports from clean system, I mean not toughed by any tweakers.

Ok, i removed rivatuner profiles, rebooted and installed ATT. If i try to set fan it drop automatically to zero every % i choose.

edit: ok, i install Windows to a empty hd so i have a clean system to test in.

Nice first attempt.

1. Saving default and overclock GPU and Memory speeds results in 0,0 for both and not the desired clock settings.

2. Need fan speed settings depending on tempurature.

3. Does triple buffering still work for D3D settings?

Installed a new Windows. Now fan control works.
1) Benchmarck tool does not work: i get 3 errors, first is "file not found", second is "No support for OpenGl compressed textures - Please update your drivers" (i have 8.3), third is "Acces violation".

2)As you asked, i tried to overclock from ATT, and the AtiOverdrive in ccc remains active.

2 Bhairava - What exact board do you have? I see your board has 1.33v in 3D, mine one has 1.30v.
Can you check 3d folder inside ATT main folder? Paste here the list if files.

About FAN Control. As I said this is inly first attempt

Unfortunately the board we ordered for you is not the one we intended to buy. Remember the photo af a Sapphire red dual slot? You got the single slot, that maybe is quite different.

Hi Ray.Im glad you can continue your work(support new cards) on ATT.
Here is my little bug report

Im getting the same 3 errors as Bhairava:
File not found;No GLSL support and that accsess violation when clicking on the Bench! button.
The renderer is not working too.
The card is on stock speed.
The subvendor info is also not correct,my card if from HIS not Medion

Im running on WinXP sp2 and use a HD3850 IceQ3

Great job Ray!
The only thing I noticed that ATT disabled my CCC Overdrive settings but I was able to redo them with no problem. The manual fan control is great.

Hi Ray,

very great job, I´m very glad, thatt ATT is working with my HD3850 512 MB PCIE.

I don´t use overclocking (perhaps later), but the hardwaremonitoring is working fine.

One problem I have like Bhairava and Adenan: The renderer doesn´t work (File not found, Access violation at adress 00000000 and so on.

One question: In Flash-OSD, there is a quotation without any description. What does this mean?

Ok,error messages gone,but i forgot another to mention the first time.
When i try to start the system tray temp monitor i get the following error:
Error reading bff1DialogCaption

roperty DialogCaption does not exist.

Or is that not not supportet yet?

But good work so far

About that subvondor thingy.....thats strange, im absolut sure my card is made by HIS,only they make those IceQ cooler.
But since its working fine i will ignore it

I will fix it. This is problems of Delphi itself after upgrading to the 2007 version.

Thanks Ray for your very good and very fast work.

I'm gonna try in some minuts the last one release.
One bug with the first one: after having tried the fan regulation, i set it to 35%. Now, after restarting it' impossible to change fan cycle, it always go back to 35%.

EDIT: i have installed the last update, automatic fan control is not working:

With the latest beta.

1. Can set GPU and memory clocks, before and after.

2. There is fan speed setting now related to temps., but when I set them they go back to default upon reboot.
