The vast amount of drivers being released it really getting annoying. I would prefer if they just release a driver every month. I have change my driver more in 2008 then when I first bought Vista in the beginning of 2007!

You know I wouldn't say this is out of hand. Nvidia is not releasing these they are leaked. So Nvidia is not the one releasing driver after driver after driver.

But this is very annoying. I have no idea why Nvidia just doesn't release drivers. Maybe these leaked drivers all have some sort of problem that Nvidia is trying to figure out before they release anything?

Anyways these are older than the 9600 drivers.

This is not a flame in my opinion, BUT.....

NOBODY should be complaining. It's either no drivers, or a bunch of drivers. Isn't more better? There is no such thing as too much. It is a very good thing to have a vast amount of choices and let those interested vote on them, as everyone has a different configuration and thus some might work better for some then for others.

If you don't like these threads then don't look at them.

Yes, please guys, post comment on how you find these drivers perform for you if you try them and you really don't have to try them!

FFS they are not releasing any drivers, these are leaked. If they were never leaked, none of you would ever know about it.

I actually have to agree. People have alot of different problems. One driver solves a problem or two while another might solve a different problem. Either way someone gets a smile with every driver
Just my 2 cents on the leaks.

Thx for leaking the drivers. I am one that like all the releases. Those of you who complain, you dont have to try out the drivers. But you can if you want too. And if you dont, well dont. Im happy that there are many to choose from, that doesnt mean I try them all. Thats why its important if you try the drivers, that you post youre results. So others like me can deside if we want to try them.

Ontopic: Does anyone else have issues with Cod4 than seero??? I dont care about other games, but cod4 is important.

no NEED to get annoyed.
NOBODY is pushing you to TRY or even Install the drivers which are getting released weekly.
They are just available for the public.. now if ur a "drivermania" like most of us here then dont complain!

i think everybody can say what he think also and this forum is public too so isnt necessary to attack him for that...then i think also that have too many releases almost similar right now with no boost or improvement...that s my opinion of course

I don't completely agree with this, the more unfinished drivers released, the more people need to test. If they released only a few drivers then we could test our machines much more effectively. That being said, I think it's good how they strive to get drivers out and fix problems.

So, why do you check the driver section ?

1/ nVidia DID NOT release this...
2/ Stay away from here if you don't want a weekly driver, that's it.
3/ Last year everybody was complaining about the poor number of driver's update, and now, there are too much ?
4/ It's a thread on a specific driver, not a thread called "i am not happy, i will tell it", even if it's public...

Can't install on my 88GT too.

Last Line of the .inf is "
DiskID1 = "NVIDIA Windows Vista x64 Driver Library Installation Disk 1"

So I think they used a 64 bit inf for the 32 bit driver.

I modded the inf with the 174.16 one and it seems to work wqith my 8800GT:

Did you try my modded inf? They used a 64 Bit inf for the 32 bit driver, so you have to replace it.
