Heaven sake, when it rains it pours!

So far so good, but ever since the 169 series to get aa+hdr to work without crashing in oblivion I have to make a duplicate profile using nhancer and then use the 'oblivion hdr+aa' aa compatibility mode as it doesn't allow changing of preset profiles otherwise.

Performance almost identicle to 171.16/17 , maybe slightly better, fan also working normaly.

Yeah me too I'll run some crysis tests and match them with the tests I did on the other thread.

Last time i check, i dont get paid to use grammar checking on the internet and if i was getting paid then i start using right grammar. and also really what the point of putting your name at the end, its the most stupid thing i ever see on the internet. this is a forum not a letter to put your signature in.

What a weak response. Just because you don't get paid doesn't mean you don't need to practice the right thing.

Anyway, the 171 drivers perform much better on my system (WinXP 32-bit) than the 160's do. Recommended at least trying this or any other 171 driver.

Good luck

1. Why practice using grammar online when 99.9% of people on the internet dont even use it. if i want to use grammar i go to college or go to law school.

2. 173 drivers are the best say my friend. with the new things Nvidia add in the 173 drivers make that driver worth downloading. Ati need to do this also and stop making 80mb drivers with 5 processes in the backround and crappy uninstalling, this is why i dont like Ati because of that.

I've tested these thoroughly with Unreal Tournament 3, and I'm averaging about 64fps. I have a chart comparing this to 171.17 and older drivers on my Website (no registration required):
http://www.alcomsplace.com

Forceware 171.23 Beta: 64.17fps avg over 9 runs with UT3 Benchmark Tool

Nvidia Freak...

173's don't work on Windows XP (right now anyway), hence why I didn't mention them. But -personally- right now, the 171's are superior for Windows XP.

YOU JUST SOLVED MY OBLIVION CRASHING PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

All this time, I racked my brain trying to figure out what was causing Oblivion to crash... I thought it couldn't be the drivers because it happened in all the drivers that I tried (I didn't stop and realize that they were all 1.69). I thought it was my video card, so I downclocked it and even reflashed it to new bios; I even downclocked my FSB....

I couldn't figure it out and now you just gave me the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are a wonderful human being.

THANK YOU

These drivers are ace .The control panel is sweet and profiles working, lets just hope this is a sign of things to come with 171.... drivers.
