Been out of the game for a while and lots of things came out..
would the new Core 2 Duo e8400 be a good upgrade over my O/ced e6600 on my Striker.. also would the board take the new cpu..? Thanks Dudes

^ the board will take the wolfdale chips, just not the yorkfield I beleive. Just gotta be patient.. a bunch of us are waiting on Asus to release some bios for our boards.

My E8400 4.0ghz matchs my previous q6600 3.0ghz, at least in 3dmark06. So it depends on what you are doing, gaming only or media mostly...... I do gaming, so I chose E8400.
