Wow -

a few days ago a friend of mine talked me into getting wow... Then a few days later he told me that it wasn't working on his system. SO here's my question/suggestion, is there a guru3D guild... AND if not, should we make one? I know it's a bit rubbish 'cause there are loads of worlds and stuff. But I play in Azjol-Nerub and would welcome a guru guild to join!
Any input from anyone?

On reflection, from a day and a bits playing I'm not sure I've been convinced by the whole running around killing wolves thing... I quite like shooting fireballs at things but I can't see myself getting much out of it. Ah well

always amazes me how everyone just instantly flames wow. its a brilliant game and the amount of content and work that goes into it is huge.
my theory with wow is if you started it with friends - youll probably love it, if you got it on your own and started it with the 'im going to think this is **** but want to play just so i can say ive played and then know its ****' mindset then.. you will

I personally think the game sucks, but to each his own. All I can say is if the people playing the game like it, more power to them. They are the ones getting suckered into paying $15/month for an outdated game when there are probably better games out there.

Can't agree with that. If they like something and want to play it, its their choice. No one is " suckering" them into paying it, its their choice if they enjoy the game enough to continue playing. There might be what you consider " better games" out there, but if they wanted to explore that and leave wow..then they would, wouldn't they?

I find MMORPG's boring since there's not a lot of action if you just plan to play for an hour or so... You have to play it for a long time to gain level's and ****... What I want is a game where you can get straight to action and you don't have to give 15$ a month for it, nut that's just my opinion.
