Default Can't set 2xQ antialiasing - 10-21-2007, 09:10 | posts: 58 | Location: Sydney, Australia

Hi everyone

Just set up a new gaming machine for my brother, Pentium 4 3.2Ghz 541J, 1GB DDR2 533 RAM, dying (heh ) 200gb Maxtor SATA HDD and most importantly a Leadtek 256MB GeForce 7800GT.

Its all running fine (UT3 demo runs better than I expected..) but I can't set 2xQ antialiasing like I did when I had this card, although I used much older drives. Its running the 163.71 forcewares. Same thing is happening to another PC with a 7200GS on the same drivers.

Any ideas? Thanks!

EDIT: By the way, it has the option of 2x, then 4x and then 8xS but nothing else. No AA options at all show up in the tray icon itself.

I don't have the option for 2xQ anymore either.

Try downloading and using 'nHancer'.

It may have the option to force 2xQ AA, havn't used it in a while so can't really remember.
