New series of Top Gear starts today (Oct 7th), BBC 2 at 8pm.

"Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May take three lightweight supercars across Europe in search of the continent's best roads, and Jeremy investigates Volkswagen's decision to put a Bentley engine into a Golf. Helen Mirren is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" - (from TV Guide UK)

Just thought I'd post this up here because as usual there have been next to no adverts for it, and I missed half the previous series that way

btw., the WRC is on ITV 4 at 4:55pm

[EDIT] Ah crap this was supposed to be posted in the Pub

Excellent news as always.
From the trails for the series it's gonna be a good one. I'm looking forward to the Veyron vs. Typhoon Fighter Jet. Not sure when that comes in the run but it'll be classic Top Gear.

SHAME! it was a really good episode, Class and quality, unlike that other rubbish i've been watching, meanwhile, namely Fifth Gear.

Yay, I guessed the San Bernardinho pass

Drove over it when we lived there, although I'd rather drive it in a GT3RS than an automatic Ford Sierra

those roads look magnificent...

I think I'd have preferred the Lambo, 4wd would be tasty in those bends..

OMG. It would be orgasmic if the makers of grand tourismo put some of those roads in the game that you could race on.
