Hi I guess this has already been brought up but I had a quick look through the forums and didn't see anything on the subject. I have read that the Nvidia drivers are better quality than the realtek drivers but it seems the only way I can get 5.1 is if I install the Realtek drivers. Does anyone know how to enable 5.1 with the Nvidia drivers or if it's possible? At least for BF2 anyway as thats the only game I play... Thanks in advance

*brings-up memories of the nVidia control panel for his old ALC650*

Isn't it a matter of installing the nVMixer program (it came with the nForce drivers for my one, don't know if it still is part of the package for newer motherboards), and then just messing-about with the settings in there? I seem to remember options for choosing either headphones/stereo/surround setups in nVMixer from the right-click menu of the system tray icon that it installs.
