Trying to get centered timings to work

Mainboard: asus

I dusted off my old copies of fallout 1 and 2 today. I enabled centered timings in CCC but the games still display across the entire screen and get streched and distorted. I would just like to know why its not working or something else I can do to play with pillarboxes.

7.7 still not fixed... try to use powerstrip. I havent tried powerstrip on this issue, but they say it works.
